In the little world in which children have their existence, whosoever brings them up, there is nothing so finely perceived and so finely felt, as injustice. Charles Dickens (Great Expectations)
This powerful adaptation of the much-loved Dickens novel delves into the childhood hopes and fears of young Pip, as he begins his adventures in the windswept marshes of Kent, to the haunting cobwebbed lair of Miss Havisham. Pip’s epic journey sees him come of age and discover the adult world of loss and regret.
"Great Expectations is peppered with memorable humorous moments, with the darker scenes juxtaposed with those offering light relief. It was theatre at its best – immersive, believable and transportive."
"Great Expectations is an immersive, showstopping and memorable experience that will take you on a dark and humorous journey. It's definitely one to watch."
